email address not updating

When I go to account settings, it shows the correct email that I want notifications sent to (same name as my blog). However, I’m still getting notifications at the email address that I originally set up the blog under. So it looks like it accepted the change but is not implementing it. Please help with getting notifications to go to the correct email address.

Did you change i on this page https://wordpress.com/me/account and then click the Save Account Settings link?

Yes.
I just got a notification to that address (the correct one) that’s about a comment I left on someone else’s blog. So far all the notifications about my own blog (likes, follows, etc.) have appeared at the original address. I don’t know if that’s significant or not.
