Are you following this guide to setup your email?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/
If so, at which point are you running into trouble?
-
Wait, the blog url that was automatically entered was wrong. It’s not subrosasanctuary.wordpress.com it is just subrosasanctuary.com, FYI. As for where I was hitting a stumbling block, it’s where I’m attempting to authenticate the email with the new DNS records. It appeared to be a formatting issue within step 9 of the link you provided. The part that says, “Enter TXT followed by a space…” is pretty crucial. Once I did this within my WordPress Dashboard > Domains > Edit DNS Records, it finally accepted the new Records. I suppose I’ll just have to wait and see if that did the trick within the next 48 hours.

Could you try clicking on the link that says “My verification code is” via your Domains -> Edit DNS page? This will send you to a webpage where you’ll be able to pull up your Google Apps verification code.
Once you enter that code into the text box next to “My verification code is,” click on “Generate DNS Records” and then “Save DNS Records.”
Feel free to give us a heads up once you’ve done this today so we can take a look for you :)

Yes, I did that last night. Hope it’s working, but it said sometimes it can take up to 48 hours to update…
-
-
Hmm…. Still not working. Sent test email msgs. to the account and received bounce-back replies from the server saying “Delivery to the following recipient has been delayed…” Any suggestions on what I can try next??
-
Thanks for the update! The DNS records in your Store -> Domains -> Edit DNS page don’t appear to have been configured properly.
Would you mind logging back into your Google Apps account and then clicking on the “My verification code is” link from your WordPress.com Edit DNS page? Then, follow directions 8 through 10 on the following page:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/If the DNS records that are generated don’t look like those in step 9, please let us know.
-
For this step, it requires the administrator to either upload an html page to the site, or change the CNAME record. It isn’t possible to upload a separate html page to a WordPress site, correct? Is the CNAME method the only option for WordPress?
-
Is it possible to connect to my WordPress site via FileZilla to upload a single html file?
-
-
Okay I think I’ve change my CNAME records properly. Said it could take up to 48 hrs to verify domain ownership.
-
Good grief… still no dice. Any more suggestions would be much appreciated. Take a look at that code again?
-
Well, you have the CNAME in, but you’re missing the rest of the rules.

When it comes to step 9 if the link you provided, it says “the custom DNS text box will have some new information in it that looks like this…” but it does not generate any new information. It’s saved exactly as I’ve entered it. When I get to the Verify Domain Ownership from Google Apps, it just gives me a code with about 20 characters, and nothing more. I’ve formatted in the requested style CNAME<space><generated code><host name.> but I get nothing. Suggestions?
-
How do I get the rest of the info for changing the CNAME? The field does not self-populate w/new information after I enter the CNAME info…
-
-
Yes, and the verification code didn’t generate any new information. Just what I entered. What am I missing here?
