    Dear WordPress Support Team. I wanted to change my WordPress email address, however, the update request does not work.

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    Can you confirm if the new email address is not associated to another WordPress.com account?

    It is stated in the documentation that:

    If you attempt to change your email address and find that it never updates after saving the changes, the email address you are attempting to use is probably associated with another WordPress.com account. Because each address can only be associated with one WordPress.com account, it will not allow you to use the same email again.
