    Hello, with my first email address I created a website which didn’t correspond to my expectations, so I deleted it as well as the account related to it. Now I am creating a new website using my second email address. When I try to change my email address for this new website, I was notified that my first email address has already been used, even if I deleted the first website as well as the account. Could anyone tell me how can I solve this problem?

    Hi there,

    If you close a WordPress.com account, data associated with the account, like the email address, is only completely removed after 30 days. So you’ll only be able to re-use that email address for a different account 30 days after the first account was closed.
