Email after Mapping

  i set up mapping for a domain name I purchased at 1&1.com, the domain is http://www.mytraveltrainer.net. I have email through 1&1.com for this domain. How do I ensure that after mytraveltrainer.net is mapped to mytraveltrainer.wordpress.com, my emails to (email visible only to moderators and staff) are not interrupted?

  I’m asking because 1&1 says my email account may be affected after I map my domain to my wordpress blog

  If you can get the MX records, you should be able to apply them via your Custom DNS panel: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/custom-dns/

  We can’t support all email configurations, so you may need to use Google Apps for Domains instead: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/
