Email and Bulletin Board

  I need help in upgrading our site. We would like to add emails through our site and preferably NOT use gmail in any form. Additionally we would like to add a community bulletin board type of feature that has people create an account and post, ask questions, etc.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It sounds like you may want to add some kind of forum plugin, you can find those here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/forum/

  Thanks. This is what I figured the answer would be. Used to be that GoDaddy could do a bunch of things and they now say go to WordPress and WordPress says third party will work… We’re a small HOA and all of these “solutions” are just too complicated and time consuming!

  Hi sensenyglenorg –

  To do this on WordPress.com each member of the HOA would need an account. The p2 theme would give you desired “forum” discussion functionality.

  If you’d like to consider this further let us know and I will share more details.

  I do know that a lot of HOA’s tend to use Facebook, so that might be another option. Just be sure that you understand the privacy factors before getting started there.
