I had a domain registered with someone on wordpress.com. They transferred the domain to me and my email address.

I tried to login to wordpress.com but it wouldn’t accept my email, or username. I did forgot password recovery and it couldn’t find any account.

WordPress sent a list of 12 passwords as numbers but I couldn’t use these as it couldn’t find my email.

I made a new account with the original email but there is no domain listed within my account.

I’m trying to manage the nameservers of the domain but I can’t find the domain.

Quite stuck with this, can anyone help please?

    Thanks.

This website and domain was transferred into my name 3rd June. You sent me details, I confirmed, I made changes in my settings, up dated profile and you gave mr 10 secondary validation codes. Now, I had to create another account, same email, just to contact you and sort this out asap. I’ve been trying for a week and waiting for a reply. This has to be the worst support system I’ve ever used.

I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

    Hi there!

Please do not create duplicate threads. I’ve merged your other post into this thread and will reply to you here.

I took a look, and it doesn’t look like there’s any history of purchases, transactions, or billing activity under the account you’re currently logged into, so we need some more information.

We need to know what website and domain you need help with – once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.

    Thanks!

I received confirmation on the 3rd June, for the transfer from my partner to me. I confirmed, I changed profile details. When I went in to login it said you didn’t recognise my email, so I created a new account, same email address just to be able to contact you..

The reason there were 2 inquiries is that my developer was also asking. I’m sorry if you’ve received multiple requests.

    Hi there!

I was able to find the account.

When I went in to login it said you didn’t recognise my email, so I created a new account, same email address just to be able to contact you

An email can only be connected to one WordPress.com account. So, either the email connected to this account is different than what you remember or you may have been misspelled the email when creating the account. In this case, the email you are contacting us from doesn’t match the one connected to the account you’re trying to access.

At this point, I would fill out our account recovery form, and our Account Recovery team can see what they can do to assist you in regaining access to your account.

Were you responsible for the purchases under the account? If so, you can use the transaction ID on your bank statement from when you purchased the upgrade to submit the account recovery form.

If you are unable to fill out the form, please contact our Account Recovery Team directly at passwordhelp@wordpress.com

Please visit our support page for more information on recovering your account.

    Hope this helps.
