Email assistance required please

    Hi,

    I am a bit confused. I originally had a website hosted elsewhere justromans.co.uk which has an email address (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    I decided to upgrade to WordPress.com. I have created the new site and purchased the domain justromans.com and also changed the nameservers on the .co.uk to point to wordpress

    I understand the email address will no longer function unless I edit Custom DNS Records. I am having trouble with the instructions for the email address

    MX <pref> <host>
    TXT <text>
    CNAME <subdomain> <host>
    A <subdomain> <IP>
    SRV <_service._protocol> <priority> <weight> <port> <domain>

    I am not sure what to enter. Can anybody help?

    The information needs to come from where your email is hosted – are you having your email hosted with your old host? WordPress.COM does not provide email accounts, but there are several ways to have custom email. WordPress.COM does have an email forward feature that is free

    Thanks for the reply. I am still a bit confused. What exactly am I asking for the following from my old host?

    I have read the article but I am still unsure.
