email before download

  Dear, it’s possible install something (in wordpress or by an external app) for take the email of the user that want to download some pdf from my blog foodcities.org?
  I know that “email before download” is a plugin of wordpress.org and not a tool for wordpress.com but some help is really a good utilities.

  There is no FTP access to wordpress.com blogs and no blogger installed plugin capability. Those exist only on wordpress.ORG software installs.

  Thanks timethief,
  I know the main differences between wordpress com and org, but in your experience you know some app (extern to wordpress) that I can use for the same issue? for exemple some time ago I used “pay with tweet” for take a tweet (and so the social network advertising of the download file) before the download, in quite sense is the same… take the email before the download. You know some site where I can take a link in this sense?
