email being included in dashboard comments screen
-
I’ve noticed I can see the email of all the people who have commented on my blog … and in turn they can see mine. In the dashboard, under comments … has this always been the case? Can I do something to stop my email showing? Although it states my email will not be displayed publicly in my settings it’s available to anyone who’s blog I comment on! Help!

has this always been the case?
Yes and that’s why many of us registered email addresses we strictly use for our blogs rather then registering with our personal en]mail address when we registered our username account. You can change the email address which is your unique identifier.
You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.
Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.
Try the change here first > http://wordpress.com/#!/settings/
