  I have a custom domain for my WP blog that is hosted by WP. Is there any way to add email capture to build an email list through a third party such as MailChimp?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  Definitely! The standard way that Mailchimp suggests you insert their signup form uses javascript and form code, which for security reasons is not allowed on WordPress.com.

  However, they provide alternate instructions for signup forms on WordPress.com sites here:
