I see many requests for this same issue. My email was successfully changed in profile settings, though I am not able to change the admin email in settings (general). I did receive an email with link to complete the change. I followed the link though still no change. I am unable to receive emails from clients requesting my services. Thank you!

I’ve created a new email account but now I can’t change the old email (the current registered) at “Account Settings / Email Address” because the system sends a message to the current email and not the new one!
“There is a pending change of your email to (email visible only to moderators and staff). Please check your inbox for a confirmation link.”
How can I change the current email to the new one?

Here is an update. I did receive an email with link to change email. I clicked the link and took me to WP settings showing the new email. When I go to the dashboard then settings, the original email is still there. Does this take time to make the change? Would love to hear any suggestions. Thanks

Hey there, if this is for an account on peytonkline.com, can you ensure you’re changing it through peytonkline.com/wp-admin ? That’s a different interface from our Calypso system for WordPress.com accounts, and it’ll have a separate account.
