    I can’t get my new email to be accepted

    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there, are you trying to change the email address on this WordPress.com account (username: dishwaterblog) ? Has the email address been used for any other WordPress.com account? It’s worth checking this, since each email address can only be used for one WordPress.com account at a time.

    If that is the case, othen you’d need to log in using that email address, and change that account to a different/third email address. This would free up the email address so you can use it with this account.

    The other alternative could be to close the second WordPress.com account if you would not need it; but I should note that after an account is closed, it takes 30 days before the account data is purged. That’s why the above option tends to be the faster option.
