Email change
-
Dear Sir
You have sent me an email to my old email account to activate the change to my email settings. I cannot gain access to my old email account at yahoo.co.uk. So you need to effect the change to the email without this activation process.
Thank you

Hi there,
When you change the email address in your account settings, a confirmation email is sent to the new email address you enter there. You’ll need to click the confirmation link in that email to complete the change.
If you don’t see the email at your new email address, please check your spam/junk folder to see if it ended up there. If you’re using a Gmail address, please also check the Social and Promotions tabs in your inbox.

Hi Rachel
I have a similar issue. I created a blog a couple of months ago, and subsequently changed the username. I did receive the confirmation email and clicked on the link. I can now log on fine to WordPress, but when I click ‘Manage my blogs’, it tells me ‘You don’t have any WordPress sites yet.’ Weirdly, if I open the blog via my browser while logged in, I can create and edit posts with no problem – yet even when I’m in the dashboard the ‘manage my blogs’ button says I don’t have any sites!’ Any ideas?

Hi wtchgblog,
Please try heading to this page to see if your blog shows up there:
https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs
You can change your blog’s dashboard visibility from that page. If the blog is marked as hidden there, it won’t appear on your My Sites page. You can switch it to visible there if you want easy access to it that way. :)
