Email change

  I’m trying to change the email that I want associated with my account. Every time I try it tells me that email is already in use. It’s my email so why is this happening? It also keeps telling me that my url for my word press is staciwraps4u.wordpress.com under the account settings but if I share my site it comes up under stacisallaboutoils.wordpress.com which is what it should be. I want my emails to go to (email visible only to moderators and staff) because I will be deleting the other email and I want my name to display correctly when I comment (stacisallaboutoils.wordpress.com) Can you help me please?!

  There is a single email address that can be used on only one username account and not on any others, regardless of how many blogs are registered under that username account. The blog’s owner can change the relevant email address on their accounts page at https://wordpress.com/me/account

  I have tried these suggestions with no luck. I would do the mod option but I can’t figure it out. Isn’t there a way that we can actually talk to someone?

  The option is to type modlook into the sidebar tags and I did that for you. There is no phone support.

  If the system is telling you that you cannot use an email address, that is because that email address is already in use for a WordPress.com user account.

  You will need to log into the account that uses the email address and change it to another email address. THEN you will be able to update your current user account to the one you want to use.

  I’ve tried that but there is no account with that email because it would be mine and I do not have another account

  I’m afraid there is an account with that email address. It was registered just over a month ago.
