Email Change

  Hello, I am trying to change my email but when I get the confirmation email, it just loops me to change my email again and sends me another confirmation email. I’ve tried to change my email in both Chrome and IE. Can someone assist?

  There is a single email address that can be used on only one username account and not on any others, regardless of how many blogs are registered under that username account. The blog’s owner can change the relevant email address on their accounts page at https://wordpress.com/me/account

  *If and when you change it an activation email will be sent to the email address entered there.

  Thank you for your help. I am still have the same looping issue. At this time, my account has the email I want but says:

  “There is a pending change of your email to (email visible only to moderators and staff). Please check your inbox for a confirmation link.”

  When I get the confirmation email and click the link, it takes me back to wordpress with the old email address filled in.

  I change it to the email address I want and then I get the same prompt. IE:

  “There is a pending change of your email to (email visible only to moderators and staff). Please check your inbox for a confirmation link.”

  Mod – please assist.

  I typed modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for you. Subscribe and be patient while waiting for a Staff response.

  Hi there,

  This sounds like it might be a browser problem.

  Can you please log out of your account, and then clear your browser cache and cookies.
  Browser Issues

  After you’ve done that, log back into your WordPress.com account, and then try the link in the confirmation email again. Let me know if it still won’t work.
