Email Change

  I want to change my account email from my moms to mine, but it says that mine is currently in use with another account so I can’t change it. I only have one blog and don’t know why my email would be associated with another blog! Any ideas?

  Hi,

  If you attempt to change your email address and find that it never updates after saving the changes, the email address you are attempting to use is probably associated with another WordPress.com account. If you haven’t created the other account someone who knows your email address could have done so.

  Because each address can only be associated with one WordPress.com account, it will not allow you to use the same email again.

  To solve the issue, you can use a different email address that is not already in use.

  If you requested the change but did not receive the email confirmation to finalize it (or the confirmation did not work), please contact Support.
