Email change doesn’t work

    Hi guys,

    I have been wanting to change my email on the account for a while now, and I type the new email get the link to follow and when I follow the link to finalize the change nothing happens. I have tried repeating the steps, logging out and back in and the email just won’t change. Can you please help?

    Hi there,

    Please make sure the email address you are trying to change to is not associated with any other WordPress account. One email address can be used for one account only.

    Hi there,

    So you’re trying to change away from the Gmail address currently on your account? Our logs also show you’ve confirmed the change multiple times, but it’s not actually updating.

    Please go to account settings and cancel the pending email change completely. Then open a new incognito browser window (or completely clear your browser cookies), log in, and try starting the email change again. When the confirmation email arrives at the new address, also open the confirmation link in the incognito window where you’re logged into your account.

    Let us know if that won’t work either.
