Email change messages conflict

  I requested the email address change but the confirmation email says “ignore if I requested the change” while the message on my account says I should click the link in the email to confirm the change.
  Until this is rectified I can’t seem to change my email address.

  Hi there!

  The confirmation email would be sent to the new email address – if you have not received this, have you checked the Spam/Junk folders?

  Thanks! I was trying to change the appleid email but I don’t think it’s possible.

  No, that’s provided by the connection with Apple’s login.
