EMAIL CHANGE STILL "PENDING" AFTER 8 DAYS – WHAT CAN I DO?
-
I HAD PROBLEMS WITH POP3 WITH ORIGINAL YAHOO EMAIL.
I CREATED NEW GMAIL ACCOUNT, VERIFIED WHEN ASKED, BUT STILL NO UPDATE.
THE OLD YAHOO EMAIL STILL POPS UP AND I LOSE ALL INFO INTENDED TO BE SENT VIA YAHOO.
THE PERSONAL SETTINGS STILL SHOWS THE CHANGE FROM YAHOO TO GMAIL IS “PENDING” AFTER 8 DAYS.
LAST TIME – MEMBER “TIME THIEF” NOTED THIS WAS TO BE REFERRED TO STAFF (?) – AS I UNDERSTOOD HER;
IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO SPEED THIS CHANGE ALONG – IT SURE IS SOURING MY EXPERIENCE.
OTHERWISE – I AM PLEASED … THANKS – DAN

Please stop creating duplicate topics, it is not going to help your problem get solved any faster. Staff here don’t usually work on weekends, and the only other people here who answer questions are volunteers (like me, and like Timethief who responded to an earlier query of yours here, by marking it for staff to look at:
We (volunteers) can’t help you. You will have to wait for staff to respond. Just be patient, please.
Also, please do not type in capitals, in internet etiquette it is regarded as shouting.
-
In the meantime, you could create a page with a contact form and have responses to it go to your normal email address. Here’s the info on how to do that:

Thank you for your timely response … please understand that no “shouting” was intended … I do feel that I have been patient … I wish that there could be some earlier email confirmation that my issue – which seems pretty basic – was in the hopper and would be addressed in __ days … as it is – with the written information stating that such email changes could take “as long as 72 hours” – I was simply seeking some kind of confirming response.
again – thanks and no shouting intended.
