Email confirmation

    I set up my site at http://www.iplawyeresq.com through BlueHost, but I never received a confirming e-mail from WordPress and may have used the wrong e-mail address intially (WRONG EMAIL – (email visible only to moderators and staff)/CORRECT EMAIL – (email visible only to moderators and staff)). My site works fine. However, when I try to log in to WordPress.com (not my site), I get an error message telling me there is no record of my User Name or User E-mail Address, both of which are refelcted on my site Dashboard.

    As an interim measure, I set up a blog at http://www.iplawyeresq.worpress.com just now so that I could post this query.

    Any suggestions?

    Hey there,

    Did you enter the wrong credentials when initially setting up your self-hosted blog on BlueHost?

    The credentials you used to create that blog are separate from any credentials used to create an account on WordPress.com. If you’d like to use any of our services for self-hosted WordPress.org blogs, like jetpack, you’ll need to use a WordPress.com account.
