email confirmation

I message has popped up on the screen where I write posts, saying that if I want to update them I have to click on the email confirmation message that you sent when I first signed up. I’ve asked for it to be sent again several times but nothing has appeared in my inbox. I signed up for this blog many years ago and your records may not have the email address that I now use:Until this problem is resolved I am unable to quit WordPress and my MacBook won’t shut down properly. Please help! :)

Hi there,
Your account has been activated for quite some time and I don’t see any pending email changes either. I wonder if this might not rather be a browser issue, as an error in your account won’t prevent your Macbook from shutting down. A browser problem might.
Can you please try clearing your browser cache and cookies? If you’re unable to do that, try force-quitting your browser first. You can do that via the Activity Monitor app on your Mac.
