Email confirmation

  I am trying to add a Page to my new WP site, but it will not let me since I have not confirmed my email. For some reason even when I hit resend the email I am not getting them. Not even in my Junk folder. The email is working ((email visible only to moderators and staff)). My only other email ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) is apparently linked to a site I used years and years ago. Can you help?

  Hi there,
  If you using gmail you might wanna check the Social or Updates or the Promotions Tab for the email.

  And if you just made the account, then i suggest you to have patience and wait for a while because sometimes WordPress takes a lot of time to send the confirmation email.

  Also, check the email at: https://wordpress.com/me/account, because that’s where the confirmation email is sent.

  If you already did all of this then you might need staff attention, so what you can do is tag this question with the modlook tag(in the Tags section of the sidebar), so that someone from the WordPress staff can help you with this. If you wish to reach the moderator staff directly for your future questions, just add the modlook tag in the Tags section.
