Email Confirmation Issue
-
Ok, so perhaps this might be a bug/flaw in the signup process because if you don’t get the email confirmation for your account, you’re screwed. We use a postfix/spamassassin relay for spam/virus filtering before landing on our exchange server and it removed the verify email (now fixed).
I can not go to Forgot your password because the account is not active and will tell you that an account doesn’t exist.
Can not go to the creation page because it will tell you an account already exists with that email.
Can not fill our a support ticket because:
The blog doesn’t exist yet because waiting email confirmation and will give you an error about the blog not existing.
Will give an error that the email address is registered to an account and to use the Forgot email (won’t submit form).
Will give an error if the blog URL isn’t filled out.
Basically you’re stuck if you don’t get the confirmation email, can not contact anyone because the account isn’t active and will show no username exists or will give an error that the account exists but you won’t be able to do anything to reset it.

Maybe have something that checks if the username exists but is not active and asks to resend an email? I know trying to re-register with the same blog url will tell me that the blog name is temporarily reserved and should be free in a few days, but nothing about the account.
If someone from WP could contact me so I can send them the email address to either resend a confirmation email or delete the limbo account so I can create a new one.
