email confirmation not received; email address now locked

Hi, I set up a wordpress.com account for a client so that we could hook up his website to jetpack. I used his email address. He says he never received the confirmation email. And when I went back to re-register, I was told his email address is already in use. Where can I go to request that his email address get wiped from the system so I can start again?

As soon as I posted this cry for help, I thought to ask the client if he’d checked his spam folder. That did the trick!
