Hi,
I have been requested to confirm my email, but the email address is misspelled. I tried to correct it via my account setting but it keeps saying there was a problem. Could you please help. Thanks

Hi,
You should be able to change/edit the Email address at Account Settings. However, it that doesn’t work you can also change it in the Account Details section of the Personal Settings page.

Also, the email should be spelt (email visible only to moderators and staff) NOT what it currently stands at.

Do you already have another account with that email address?
From the “Issues Changing your Email Address” section of the Update Email Address support page:
If you attempt to change your email address and find that it never updates after saving the changes, the issue is usually simple. The email address you are attempting to use is probably associated with another WordPress.com account. Because each address can only be associated with one WordPress.com account, it will not allow you to use the same email again.
The solution is also easy. You can use a different email address that is not already in use, or you can log in to the account currently using your desired email address and change it to something else. Once changed, you can then reuse the email on a different account.
