Email databases
-
I am planning on using WordPress as a blog and transitioning it into my website for my business. I have 350 email addresses that I have collected using Survey Monkey and maybe 20 of those people have signed up for my Blog. I have another survey that I will be sending this group and I am wondering if I can input their email addresses into Word Press and store them for regular blog posts in the future? Otherwise I am going to have to use something like Mailchimp to send emails and I really want to start pooling and keeping these people in one place. Could someone help me figure out a way to use WordPress as my main point of contact.
Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sorry can’t import email addresses into the system here – that is a favorite tactic of spammers – so no can do here.

We can offer email subscriptions but there is no means available for importing your email lists into free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

If you are looking for “subscribers” and not registered users then you can view your current subscriptions at Manage Blog Subscriptions panel on your WordPress.com home Subscriptions tab.

RATS! I’m sorry Please ignore that second comment I made immediately above. I was confused. If you want to locate the email addresses of those who have subscribed to your blog click “Site Stats”. Scroll down to the “Totals, Subscriptions & Shares” Module. Then click the active subscribers link > Site subscriptions: __ active subscribers
