Email delivery to followers

  I set my email delivery to send once daily to the followers of my blog. They are complaining that they are receiving multiple emails with the same recipe on the same day.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there. We have no control over email notifications of new posts sent by WordPress.com. Only subscribers can control when they want to receive them.

  Where exactly did you choose this setting? Are you using a third-party service like MailChimp?

  It was by the settings and zi only realised afterwards that it was to select times and freauency for me to receive email nitifications. So …when does WordPress send emails from my blog? Is it every time I publish a new post/recipe?

  WordPress generates the email the moment you press publish, but your followers can again specify in their settings whether they want to receive it immediately, once a day or once a week, as explained here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/following/#change-your-email-settings

  If you unpublish a post to make changes and then republishes it, I think it sends out another notification as well.

  Are many of your followers receiving multiple notifications?
