Email disabled

Hi, I just last week renewed my subscription & I’m now not receiving emails – people are getting the below message.

This is so urgent – can someone please look into it?

    thanks

Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:

Anthony Ross ((email visible only to moderators and staff))
Your message couldn’t be delivered. The Domain Name System (DNS) reported that the recipient’s domain does not exist.

Contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) and ask them to tell their email admin that it appears that their domain isn’t properly registered at their domain registrar. Give them the error details shown below. It’s likely that the recipient’s email admin is the only one who can fix this problem.

    Hi there!

I see that you contacted us via email as well. In order to avoid duplicating efforts that may lead to miscommunication, could you please reply to the email we sent earlier today? We’ll be happy to continue assisting you via email.

    Thanks!

I don’t have an email from you. That’s the whole point. You’ve deactivated my email so I am not receiving any emails now. I have you an alternative email to use in the email’s I sent you.

This is now very urgent. I haven’t received any emails since Sunday. Please reactivate my email address ASAP

  • Thanks for confirming. To be sure I’ve understood, you do not have access to the inbox for the email address listed here? https://wordpress.com/me/account

If so please set an alternate address so that we can message you and you receive updates of support replies from staff.

    Change Your Email Address

The email address registered with your WordPress.com account is your unique identifier to verify ownership of your account and website. This guide will help you update your account’s email address. Change My Email Address To update the email address on your account, follow these steps: Visit your profile by clicking on your avatar (profile picture) in the top right corner of WordPress.

Regarding your email delivery issue with antross.com.au, from what I can see it is not linked with our WordPress.com services and isn’t registered with us. Additionally, your domain is currently flagged with a “serverHold” status, indicating a problem that demands immediate attention.

You can confirm this by visiting the public WHOIS info page for your domain here: https://www.whois.com/whois/antross.com.au

The solution to this problem lies in contacting your domain registrar, Instra, directly. They have the required skills to specifically handle your “serverHold” status and any other domain-related email problems you might be having. Here’s Instra’s contact page for your convenience: https://www.instra.com/en/about-us/contact-us

Once Instra has resolved this issue and your domain is active again, you can link your domain to your WordPress.com site by following the directions in our guide to connecting a domain.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
