email distribution/notification no longer active

  I published my latest post (POP! Go the Chairs) 22 January, and for the first time ever, it has not been distributed to my email list (I am on that list) and I am not receiving any comments or likes via email. My settings are unchanged. How do we fix this?

  It’s me again, I apologize for hounding the community, but I really need help. Published another post today (27 January), still no distribution by email & no emails to me of reader comments/likes. Is there no way to contact a technical person at WordPress itself? I think this is a technical issue, but can’t see any way to reach them. Help, help…
