Email DNS Problems for working nonprofit, please respond fast
-
I need DNS help fast, please, so my nonprofit can get email running asap.
I’m doing a domain mapping. I’ve input the nameservers pointing to wordpress.com. Now I need to get you the DNS for the email service.
There is a problem with the formatting of the DNS I received from the host site (Dreamhost.com). Here is what I input to your form and tried to validate:
A 75.119.216.179
MX 10 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
MX 20 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
MX 20 ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
MX 30 ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.
MX 30 ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.
MX 30 ASPMX4.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.
MX 30 ASPMX5.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.
NS ns1.dreamhost.com.
NS ns2.dreamhost.com.
NS ns3.dreamhost.com.
ftp A 75.119.216.179
mail CNAME ghs.googlehosted.com.
ssh A 75.119.216.179
www A 75.119.216.179Your system did not like the NS records, so I deleted those. It also did not like the CNAME and the A record. I believe I need at least one A record. I cannot decipher your suggested format.
Please help so we can have email on Thurs morning. I did this on Wed night so it would be done in the morning. Thanks. Kaye

Thanks, I’ve just submitted those records. I’m assuming that will get the gmail operating soon. If there is more I need to do, please let me know. Thanks.
