Email domain is defunct – how to reset password?

    The email address that was tied to https://silencioangel.wordpress.com was an email address under the Rocketmail domain, which is now defunct. I used to be able to log in to my blog using my username (@silencioangel) and last registered password (which I will be able to provide). However, I have now been forced to reset the password to my account, which I am unable to do so, because again, Rocketmail is now defunct. As such, I cannot use any of the account recovery options. Can you assist me please? It is a treasure trove of memories and I do not want to lose my blog just because WordPress suddenly forces me to update my password – which I didn’t ask for anyway.

    Hi there!

    Since you’re already logged into the account (because you’re posting here), you should be able to change your email address from your account page:

    https://wordpress.com/me/account

    Can you confirm whether or not you’re able to do that? You don’t need access to your old email address to change it to a new one if you’re already logged into the account.
