  How do I add email followers? I can’t seem to find that option anywhere

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey,
  To add a email followers is so simple in wordpress. Just follow the steps below:

  CREATE A EMAIL FOLLOWERS

  Step-1: Log in to Dashboard. Then go to Appearance > Widgets

  Step-2: Here on right side you’ll see Primary Side Bar. (If your theme supports primary side bar.)

  Step-3: The widgets are listed on the left side. You can add search, Recent Posts, Email Subscriptions etc.

  Step-4: Find Follow Blog from widgets. Click on it. It opens a dropdown and let you choose to widget position. Select Primary Side Bar, or Content Sidebar or Footer whichever you want.

  Step-5: Click Add Widget.

  Step-6: You can see on right side the widget will add your Side Bar. You can customize the text option or click the Save button.

  You are Done!

  Hi there,

  It’s not possible to add followers to your site. You can invite followers by going to My Site ->People ->Add, and you can make it easier for people follow by adding a widget like @dashingdidu explained, but you can’t add someone as a follower and send them notifications against their will. Followers need to sign up to your site themselves, and in the case of email notifications they need to confirm that they want to receive them, or we won’t send them any.
