  Hello,
  I have had an increase in random/fake? outlook followers. WordPress has been working on this, but is something new going on with outlook servers?

  That’s correct, we are working on this issue. It is annoying but not a risk to your site.

  @meganamoore — In the meantime, if you’d like to avoid the emails, you can head to wordpress.com/me/notifications and disable email notifications for new follows there.

  Your “Bell” icon will still work to notify you of legitimate followers.
