email followers

  Hi

  Today I have done the first publicising of my blog to friends via facebook, with some people telling me they have clicked follow and out in email address (not wordpress acct holders). But as yet I have no email followers showing, is there a delay? How long?

  Do you have the “Show total number of subscribers” enabled?

  Subscribers are sent an email with a link in it to confirm they want to subscribe – have they confirmed?

  Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets >>

  Then look at the installed widget in your sidebar – click on the little down arrow on the right to show the options – the box is at the bottom

  Its not ticked as I don’t want viewers to see how few followers I have got!

  Do you know how long it takes once a new email follower has recieved the email as 2 friends have said they have had email but no new email followers are appearing yet?
