Email followers

I know that my blog has email followers. I went to Manage->People->Email Followers. But the list is empty. Even in others places like Stats section, it shows that number of email followers is zero.
Is there anything I’m missing, like some setting that needs to be tweaked?

Hi there,
The Email Followers section only refers to people without a WordPress.com account, who follows your site via email only. Currently your site has none of those.
If a follower with a WordPress.com username also has email notifications for your site enabled, they will appear under the Followers section, and you’ll only see their WordPress.com username, not their email address. We also don’t show which of these followers have email notifications active. You currently have 10 WordPress.com followers.

Thank you. Probably it is what you have suggested.
Also, on my site I’m not keeping any Follow button.
There is usual Follow button which is there for every blog, which overlays over a page. After clicking this button, there is an option to add an email address. What I need help with is how do I enable followers count to show up over there. -
To show the number of followers on your site, you’ll want to add the Follow Blog widget. Here’s more information about this:
