Email followers

    I have a number of people that want to follow what I write on my blog via email only but they are unsuccessful in getting there email addresses registered to receive each time that I post, without getting a wordpress account. Any suggestions?

    Hi @justinpilkington, if they sign up by email, they’ll definitely need to look for a confirmation link and click that. If you want us to check on an email address or two to see if that is in fact the issue, could you type them here? They will be redacted automatically so that only staff can see them.

    If they do want to have a WordPress.com account so they can follow in the reader / turn off notifications while they’re on vacation, etc, we do have a signup link that won’t prompt them to create a site. They can use this:
