Email Followers count displayed on widget not completely reflected in Stats

    Hi, For my blog https://theempireofcarane.wordpress.com/, I see that I currently have about 518 Email Followers through a WordPress.com widget on my blog. However, when I try to browse this list through my Stats, I find some discrepancies in numbers. Looks like the followers are not accurately showing up in Stats. For the people following the blog using the ‘Follow button’. the count seems to be reflecting accurately in Stats ~ 481 as of current writing. Any ideas on this issue? Appreciate the help !

    Hi there,

    The number on the widget reflects total follower, not just email followers.

    So that is 482 people following your site via their WordPress.com accounts, 1 email follower, and 37 followers via your connected Twitter account.

    You can view these numbers at My Site ->Stats ->Insights. Scroll down on that page to see the Followers section.
