Email followers doesn't show in my stats

Hello,
I just started a blog and added the follow me widgets. For some reasons, people who subscribe via email (without a wordpress account), doesn’t show in my stats. I have currently one person… who, not sure how whe did it… but I have 2 friends who subscribed and I cannot see them on the list (they did receive an email confirmation though). What can be the reason of this ?
Also, my blog is in french… so I have translated the sentence that followers will see when clicking the Follow button. But still, when people click the follow button, the text is still in english.

Once they receive the email they must click on the confirmation link to complete the subscription. Possibly they haven’t done that yet, which is why they’re not showing in your stats. They also won’t receive email updates until they confirm their subscription.
You only translated the text in the follow widget. To change the text that appears in the email users receive, go to Settings ->Reading in the dashboard. At the bottom of the page you can change the email text for blog and comment followers.

Thank you kokkieh…i will check with the people I know who subscribed to make sure they did that.
As for the translation…went to settings and it was already in french…still doesn’t work :-(. Do you have another idea why it doesn’t update?

Your blog language is French, but what about the dashboard language? You can set that to French as well, which might solve the issue: http://en.support.wordpress.com/language-settings/
You could also try asking in the French forums – perhaps someone there has encountered the same problem and will know how to fix it. http://fr.forums.wordpress.com/
