Email followers don’t show in “People” > “email followers”
-
Hi everyone 👋
Wonder if anyone else has had this issue (or can tell me what I’m doing wrong!)
I have a “follow my blog by email” box on my site which allows people to sign up and receive new posts by email- that all works great :)
however, when I go in to “people” > “email followers” on WordPress I don’t see a correct list of followers.
I know this because I have signed up (to test it) using another email address of mine, which receives emails of new posts, but doesn’t show anywhere in my list of followers.
What I’m asking is…. Is there a way to see a list of email addresses who are sent ‘new post’ emails? I’m stumped
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello!
To access your list of subscribers, please follow these steps:
- Go to your site’s dashboard.
- Navigate to the “Users” section and click on “Subscribers”.
On the “Subscribers” page, you will find a list of individuals who have subscribed to your site’s blog posts. The subscribers are categorized as follows:
- Via Email: These are individuals who subscribed by providing their email address only.
- Via WordPress.com: These are individuals who subscribed using their WordPress.com account. In addition to their username, their profile picture (if they have uploaded one to their WordPress.com account) will be displayed in your subscriber list.
If someone subscribed both via email and has a WordPress.com account, they will be listed as a WordPress.com subscriber.
I hope this provides clarity on how to view your subscribers. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!
