Email followers not getting confirmation email

  Hi,
  None of the 12 followers for my private blog have received a confirmation email, so none are getting emails when I post. How do I fix this?

  Hi,
  I’m not sure that I described my issue very well – first time blogger :(

  I have set up a private blog and have sent out invites. I have 28 users who now have access to the blog. They can log in and read the pages and posts. However, 12 of them have signed up to be followers, but none received a confirmation email about subscribing. And none are getting any emails when I publish a post.

  If they log in and look in the reader tab, then the blog posts appear in that. Its just no email notifications of the posts.

  When I look in the stats page, I see the 12 followers listed, but there are 0 email followers listed (presumably because they have not confirmed).

  How can they confirm and start getting the email notifications?

  Is there no one out there who can help me or give me any advice – have I done/posted something wrong?
