Email followers not updating

  I been getting alot of emails from people following my blog. I dont post alot but today i logged in and checked to see how many followers i have in total, was a surprise to notice it didnt update at all!! Its the same as after MY FIRST POST, so it didn’t update at all in more than a year???

  PS: I know the difference between email followers and wordpress followers, as you can see in the screenshots the email one doesn’t update at all…

  Thanks alot, and i apologize in advance if the answer is something obvious and not a bug, im a bit new here.

  Your followers could be spam followers. The Staff are cleaning them up.
