Email followers says 0 when People signed up?

    My email followers are not displayed and it says I have 0 when some people told me they signed up

    Perhaps they are following the blog but not actually signed up for the emails. Alternatively, there may be a time lag (I’m not certain of this, however). Perhaps check with your readers first to double-check what it is they have signed up for at this point.

    Thank you for your reply. I have asked a few of them and they said they clicked follow and added their email addresses. I even tried it when another
    Email I have and it still said 0. Maybe I have to add a program that tracks this from another website because I need it for a class project. Thank you!

    An email was just sent to confirm that you want to follow this blog. Please find the email now and click activate.

    That’s what pops up when someone enters their e-mail address, they are then sent a confirmation e-mail which contains a link that they have to click to confirm their subscription. I have done this with one of my throwaway e-mail address and it says you now have 473 followers rather than 472. Can you confirm you have 1 e-mail follower?

    If people aren’t getting the confirmation e-mail then it’s probably in their spam folder.
