Email followers stat counts zero while my follow via email widget counts 230

  Email followers stat counts zero while my follow via email widget counts 230. Is that possible? Which one is right? I’ve seen the widget count grow during last three months, so I was assuming I was being follow via email. Now that I see the stat page reading zero, I’m starting to doubt…Can anyone help me out to clarify?

  Yes that’s possible and both can be right. The Follow Blog widget includes your Publicize followers (Facebook friends, Twitter followers, etc.). It could be that you’ve had a growing number of followers from your Publicize accounts but no one actually followed your blog through email (clicked the Follow button).
