Email Formatting Issues
-
I’m having a problem with my photographs moving around or jamming together, when they are published into my feed. This causes the text to move around as well as giving an overall messy and amateurish impression. I rely on my subscribers and want them to feel they are getting value from my blog. I am using the wordpress widget for email subscribers.
When searching the help boards I notice others with the same issues. Each topic regarding this issue was not only closed, but remained unresolved. There are many of us going through this but don’t know how to fix it.
Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated as I am dependent on my art, photographs and writing to look acceptable and professional.
Thank you for your time in this!

We would need a link to the WordPress.com blog in question, as the site linked to your username is not hosted on WordPress.com

My apologies, the blog I am having trouble with is my travel blog. The Ring of Beara Blog: http://ringofbeara.wordpress.com/ . With thanks in advance.

Please take note that every email client renders email in a different manner. Staff have provided a format that will render across the majority of all email clients but that doesn’t mean the way every email client renders the emails sent may be what you wish to see.
-
Ah, okay, that is understandable given the volume of email clients available. Is there a way to have the email clients receive an email..perhaps a shortened preview…that will entice them to come to the actual page?
-
Yes. Go here > Settings > Reading and set your RSS feeds for “summary” and then click “save changes”
Syndication feeds show the most recent __ itemsFor each article in a feed, show
__Full text
__Summary -
-
Absolutely! In your Dashboard’s Reading settings, change the “Syndication Feed shows” from “full text” to “summary”.

I think we can mark this as resolved. Other people having this same issue will be happy to know how to direct traffic back to the actual blog. Thanks again.

There’s a drop down box (for you only) on the sidebar of this post where you can change the status of this post to “Resolved”.
Cheers from me and good luck!
