Email forwarding

I have tried to find the solution, in forum and out.
The wordpress domain forwarding emails I set up aren’t sending.
I want (email visible only to moderators and staff) to go to (email visible only to moderators and staff) andI have followed the verification steps whenever wordpress sends one to the gmail but even when active emails don’t reach me. Emails aren’t in my spam or filtered either. My host is running my wordpress on his server but doesn’t communicate much is it a problem at his end. Do I need to pass my new email addresses through him?
Please help.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your domain austinhanslip.com is pointed to a self-hosted WordPress blog. The Email Forwarding feature here at WordPress.com only works when your domain is pointed to WordPress.com.
Just to clarify, WordPress.com and WordPress.org (self-hosted WordPress) are two different entities. You can read more about the differences here: WordPress.com and WordPress.org
You’ll need to contact your host to set up email service with him. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Thank you, I spoke to my friend who is hosting my site. It is hard to get in contact but once done he added my new email and it all works now (because I already added the email at my end too) Many thanks.
