Email forwarding

We’re trying to set up email forwarding but we are finding it only works for users with admin privileges.
Users with other roles receive the email asking them to confirm the email address but when they log in are told they haven’t got the necessary privileges.
Is it meant to be so restrictive?

Another Volunteer may answer prior to Staff but I tagged the thread so it will not fall through the cracks and escape attention. Hi there,
If you’re trying to set up email forwarding for someone who isn’t an administrator on your site, please ask them to forward you the confirmation email so you can confirm it for them. (Currently, only site administrators can do that confirmation step.)
