email forwarding from (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  I setup the email for (email visible only to moderators and staff) as instuctred and recieved an email confirmation and responded to it. Yet wordpress.com is still not forwarding emails addressed to that address. How can i get this thing to work?

  Hi Seth,

  Currently, it looks like your email forwarding is setup correctly. Can you make sure you’re not sending the test email from the address that the email will eventually be forwarded to? So, for example, if the emails are being forwarded to “email at domain.com”, you cannot send the test email from that address as well. The loop that occurs will cause an error.

  Thanks … it is working. I guess i just cannot mail to that address myself while i am getting the redirects. Oh well.

  Hey Seth,

  Correct – you won’t be able to send an email from your Gmail address to your forwarded address provided the forwarded address is sent back to your Gmail. Otherwise, you should be good to go. Let me know if you need anything else!
