Email Forwarding. Mistake in documentation?
-
I noticed it when I was actually setting up my own email forwarding and wanted to learn more. And so as I was reading, I came across what possibly might be a small mistake in the support documentation:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/The instance occurs in the following example located in the second paragraph of the doc:
For example: if your email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff), and you have the domain example.com in your blog, you can set up (email visible only to moderators and staff) using Email Forwarding. Emails sent to (email visible only to moderators and staff) will arrive at (email visible only to moderators and staff)
Either I’m missing something completely obvious (in which case, somebody please point it out to me so that I can retreat into a cave and regret I ever wrote this message, or that last “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” should actually be “(email visible only to moderators and staff)“.
Assuming the latter is true, the example could mislead/confuse users if left unedited.

This is a great post, @pauloeaquino. It made me smile.
With all of the [email redacted] notes, I had to click through to see what you are referring to, and I’m guessing it is the difference in numbers.
Your comment makes sense. Don’t go live in a cave. :-)

@pauloeaquino I understand that feeling soooo well, here.
Well, at least now, both of us will go to the cave. LOL. -
