Email Forwarding Not Working

Hello, I have a email forwarding setup so anyone who uses my blog email ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) redirects to my main e-mail ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) I have noticed that no e-mails from my blog email is showing up on my aol account. I even tested my blog email with a backup email address and it has not showed up. MY domain is renewed through March 2018 so I don’t know what is happening.

In the support article called Email Forwarding, it says:
If you’d like to send a test message, it MUST be done from a different email account than you are forwarding to. If the email forwarding does not work, double check your custom domain’s name servers to make sure they are pointing to WordPress.com.
This means you currently or previously were using email hosting using another service.
If you’re no longer using that email host, move to Edit DNS and remove all of the DNS settings related to your email host. This will likely include MX, CNAME, and possibly A records. If you need help with this, contact us!
